With the administration options that have been developed as part of the TGI software program, not only can the maps be easily updated with name changes, locations etc. but the information appearing in the windows can be updated too. These features make the online maps especially useful for applications where change is a constant.
In some applications, it may be desirable to use street maps or maps produced by other publishers and if so the software flexibility built into the TGI programs makes it possible to have all the same features function with these maps.
While some businesses may want to customize the TGI maps for their own website, easy linking to the TGI maps permits a business to link to their precise location, if they are a participant in the TGI online map program, without the need for customization.
